Last night, on the way back from Disneyland, I was once again amazed by the coolness of the iPod and the wife finally agreed. For the holiday season, I have a Christmas music playlist that's kid friendly. After Katherine conked out, I rapidly tired of yuletide cheer and switched over to my other 900 tunes. What a wonder box. Not one commercial in 24 hours+ of original music.
This morning, I went to press play and nothing happened. There was plenty of battery left last night, so what happened? Tried again and again. Just when you get happy with something, it breaks. This is great. Going to have to bring it in, wait a few weeks for repair. Just what I need this holiday season...
Then, I remembered the internet (the thing you're staring at) and the world's greatest search engine. A few clicks later, I arrived on iPodLounge and I saw the light. Also figured out what could have been causing the percieved battery drain -- the alarm clock. Turned that off and I should be getting 10 hours between charges.
Love that internet. Love that iPod.
