June 2009 Archives

Vincent played 5 songs for his second piano recital (once every June). It was hard to get a picture of him on stage, but there was no problem with him getting up there and playing. No bribing or coercion needed.

Henry turned one a day after Vincent's birthday. Looking back at some "old" photos, I realize Henry hasn't changed that much personality wise. He was always a bit of a manic when playing, loved chewing clothes and still loves his same toy (amazing for all the pairs of underwear and socks he's ruined that his puppy still survives.)

Vincent is now 7 and celebrated with 2 parties. First up was the cousins swim party.

Next up was a cosmic bowling party with all the kids from school:

Memorial Day weekend was spent with friends in a most beautiful Big Bear with sun shining, water sparkling, sky blue, and my home made chocolate chip cookies crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.

School is out and I'm just now getting to this picture.

Vincent hams it up at the spring concert.

Katherine's teacher threatened the kids with an equivalent of a missing homework assignment if the kids didn't actively participate. It actually worked:
