Of all 32 teams in the NFL, New England ranks at the very bottom for me. Too arrogant, cocky and classless for my taste. Note to Belichick and Brady -- you don't run to the locker room before the game ends. New England's fairy tale season, undefeated going into the Super Bowl wound up with a fairy tale ending ... for the New York Giants.
Best Super Bowl game I remember seeing. It played quicker than ones in recent memory and what a finish. Eli Manning drives 83 yards with 2 minutes left and throws a touchdown pass with 35 seconds left. Brilliant. New York played with heart, never giving up. And the Giant's defense was awesome. Keep Brady off the field for large chunks of time and on his back when he is.
And talk about fairy tales ... what about back to back brothers winning the Super Bowl. First Peyton and now Eli. Now there's a true football dynasty, the Manning family.
What a great moral lesson too. Cheaters (Spygate and
Super Bowl XXXVI?) don't prosper.
