Katherine and cousin Sohpia, wrestling.
Starting to look for homes. I liked this one -- 5 bed / 3 bath 2400 square foot house with huge 1/3 acre (15,500 sqft) lot.
Katherine's (2yr 8mo) quote of the day:
Suzy
Katherine, why are you running around naked?Katherine
Mommy, I'm Pocohantas, the Indian. And Indian's don't wear underwear.
The digital camera is arriving one
piece at a time from Amazon. This is the first electronics item ordered from Amazon. At first glance, their prices suck. But, factor in the free shipping, $25 gift certificate for a memory card, no state taxes, and Amazon doesn't come out too bad.
There's something oddly satisfying in talking to your computer and having it respond. Sure, it's a gimmic, but it gives a glimpse to the future. Mac OS X comes with speech recognition software, just turn in on thru the Speech panel in System Preferences. Then, press the escape key (ESC) and say "What time is it". Your mac will respond, in a configurable voice, "It's 11:57".
Haven't watched Ally McBeal in two years. I think it jumped the shark years ago.

Yahoo has a new privacy policy that I'm sure gives more of your information away. But, there are a few things you can to do to minimize their tracking:
- Opt out of Yahoo's Web Beacons (ways of tracking you when you're not within yahoo.com): http://pclick.yahoo.com/p?optout
- Opt out of spam, or special offers, here: http://subscribe.yahoo.com/showaccount
- Update your hosts file to map addresses of known advertisting sites to local host -- know, you'll see a white rectangle where most ads used to be and your pages will load much faster: http://www.ecst.csuchico.edu/~atman/spam/adblock.shtml
Ok, I disabled sleep mode. Will try connecting directly and sending email to make sure radio is awake today.
It seems like Radio is not running when the screensaver is on. My email post, sent from work before noon, didn't appear until I came home and hit the space bar to get rid of the screensaver. Maybe the iMac has some sleep mode which I wasn't aware of?
Looking at the source code license for java swing set demo code, it appears you can't say Java Sucks:
